Earlier in February, our club members participated in both social and service opportunities to promote health and wellness both individually and within our communities. This was a great way for our members to mentally prepare before two busy weeks of midterms.

The 40 for 40 challenge was a workout challenge to raise awareness for human trafficking. The workout challenge, which consisted of completing, 40 burpees, was symbolic for the 40 million humans that are enslaved by human trafficking. We are so thankful for all of our members who participated!

Additionally, in collaboration with UF Mindfulness Club, our club members participated in a guided meditation and journaling seminar. First, a Monkey Brain exercise allowed for the members to expand their creativity and open their minds. After following a 10 minute guided meditation, our minds were open and ready to being poem writing.

Next week, on March 10th, FSLM will host their second general body meeting of the spring semester at the normal date and time, Wednesday, 6:30 PM. The flyer attached has more information on our meeting and guest speaker.

We look forward to seeing everyone on ZOOM, and finishing the second half of the semester strong!
