Upcoming elections

Florida Students for Lifestyle Medicine will soon be electing a new executive board for the Fall 2021-Spring 2022 school year. Using the google form below, we encourage all members to consider applying for one of our positions. The responses will be compiled and then group members will have the opportunity to vote for a candidate using a google form sent to their emails the week of March 29th.

The google form to apply for a position is due Wednesday, March 24th. We will announce the new exec at the last GBM on April 10th. At the bottom of this post, are testimonies from our most previous executive board and descriptions of each position.

My favorite memory serving on this amazing team was when we volunteered at Farm to School Hub right here in Gainesville. I love gardening and it was awesome to help plant produce that will go to local elementary schools. It’s so important to have fresh fruits and vegetables available to the community and this organization is dedicated to providing them along with quality educational programs to children. Serving as FSLM's past social media co-chairs together was a great experience to learn the value of social media in promoting our passion for lifestyle medicine and work alongside so many amazing people.
